TIME TRIAL POINTS SERIES

The Kern Wheelmen are proud to present a new time trial points series.

Beginning January 27, 2008 and continuing through June 29, 2008 the series will alter between 4 venues in and around Bakersfield.

Points will be awarded for all that show up and complete a race. 1st place through 5th will receive higher points for their placing (details below).
Great prizes for those with the highest points accumulated, details to follow on how many classes we'll break the awards into. You must participate in three or more events to be eligable for prizes.

So, bring your friends, family, coworkers or the lady next door for some great family fun on a Sunday.

KWBC MONTHLY TIME TRIAL POINT SERIES
Last event: Sunday, June 29, 08

Registration opens at 7:30am. The first rider leaves at 8:00am, with riders leaving in 60-second intervals.

Registration Fee: $10 For members, one time additional fee of $20 for 2008 club membership (Insurance requirement). Membership Form

Start line is at Golden Dr on Breckenridge Rd. Route is out Breckenridge to Comanche Rd and back to Golden Dr.
There will be Port -A-Potties available.
The course WILL NOT be closed to traffic. Use caution when passing slower riders, and watch for on coming traffic and other hazards on the path. The course distance is 8 miles, with some slight elevation.

We need volunteers to help out. Nobody here gets paid so it's folks giving some time that allows these events to happen. If everyone commited to working just one event a year and participating in the rest, we would be able to have MANY more events! Give the event director an email if you are available to help.
