WHERE: starts/ends Yokuts Park (parking lot right before entering the park)
ROUTES: 4 routes to choose from

Century: 107 miles -- approximately 10,000’ elevation gain
= A strenuous ride only for those in superb cycling shape. Starts at Yokuts and goes up through Woody and Glennville to Greenhorn Summit. Riders MUST start by 7am.($45)
- Metric and a Half: 90+ miles -- approximately 8,000’ elevation
gain
= Same as above, except turn around at Glennville. ($45)
- Metric: 60+ miles. -- approximately 5,000’ elevation gain
= Does the Woody Crossover route.

JUST IN (04.17.2008

Starts at Yokuts Park, goes west on the bike path to Manor, then
North
on Manor to North Chester to the North Chester Extension,
past the speedway.
Then right on Granite Road. It then climbs to the Woody Y
where there is an
aid station at about 20 miles into the ride. It then
continues Northeast
on Woody Road, into Woody. You then go right up to the
crossover road up
past Granite Station and then descend back down Granite Road
to the Woody Y and
another visit to the aid station. Then back the way you
came. Approx 65
miles and a 5000' foot elevation gain in total riding.
- Yokuts Park to Hart Park: 28 miles --
= with a bump or two along the way,
passing Ethel's Coral. ($30)
Comes with BBQ (11am-5pm), SAG support and aid stations.
Register on Kern Wheelmen, Inc. website through
Active.com or day of
event starting at 5 AM.
Check weather and layer accordingly. It can be quite cold at the top of
the summit.
$45 for routes 1-3, except Hart Park, which is $30 (route 4).
